Speaking and Workshops

I help schools, nonprofits, and organizations build stronger leaders and healthier teams.

My sessions are practical and designed to help people lead with more purpose, more clarity, and more confidence.

People leave with language they can use with their teams, as well as insights they can apply for a clearer sense of how to work well together.

The topics I cover in workshops or at events center on leadership and are relevant to the pressures people are carrying in schools and organizations today.

I offer workshops for schools and organizations that want to strengthen leadership, team dynamics, and the conditions people need to thrive in their work.

Workshops can be delivered as keynote presentations, half-day workshops, or multi-session learning experiences. I shape the experience around your goals, your people, and the challenges you are trying to solve.

Meet Barb

Barb White, MA/ACC—Founder

My journey began in public education, where decades of working with students and leaders reinforced the powerful connection between thought-provoking questions and meaningful stories. This passion led me to earn my ICF coaching certification and transition into senior consulting, specializing in leadership, teamwork, and learning strategies. Good Story Coaching is rooted in the belief that people are at the heart of every decision, and coaching helps them uncover the narrative they want to tell.

Recent speaking and facilitation includes ICF Wisconsin, DCNP Nonprofit Day in DeKalb, and the Valley Industrial Association in Illinois.

My work has included audiences focused on coaching, nonprofit leadership, professional development, communication, collaboration, and emerging leaders. That range matters because every audience needs something slightly different, even when the topic sounds the same on paper.

  • Just like IQ (intelligence quotient) and EQ (emotional intelligence), TQ—Transitional Quotient—can be developed and strengthened

Imagine standing at the edge of a major life change—a career shift, personal reinvention, or a new season of life. You know change is necessary, but it feels overwhelming. What if you had a roadmap? What if transition wasn’t something to endure, but something you could navigate with confidence?

Transition is a practice, not a one-time event. The good news? There are tools to help you move through change with clarity and resilience.
