I help leaders make sense of complex work.

This is your story. Are you living the one you want?

Good Story Coaching gives leaders space, structure, and support to think clearly. When you take care of yourself, you lead intentionally and move forward without carrying everything on your own.

Leaders don’t have all the answers.

Leadership can be messy. Complicated. When leaders are overloaded, distracted, or forced into constant reaction, the effects spread quickly through the system.

That is why my approach helps leaders slow down enough to think and create space for intention.

Meet Barb

Barb White, MA/ACC—Founder

My journey began in public education, where decades of working with students and leaders reinforced the powerful connection between thought-provoking questions and meaningful stories. This passion led me to earn my ICF coaching certification and transition into senior consulting, specializing in leadership, teamwork, and learning strategies. Good Story Coaching is rooted in the belief that people are at the heart of every decision, and coaching helps them uncover the narrative they want to tell.

A Simple Way Forward

  • Step One: Schedule a Conversation.

Schedule a conversation and leave with clearer thinking, stronger questions, and practical actions you can apply right away.

  • Step Two: Name What Feels Tangled.

Together, we start by identifying what feels heavy, unclear, or stuck so the challenge becomes easier to understand and address.

  • Step Three: Get Clear On What Matters.

Through coaching, you’ll sort through the noise and assumptions so you can focus on the priorities and decisions that deserve your attention.

Who I Work With

I work best with reflective, growth-oriented leaders who care deeply about challenging themselves, empowering their team, and improving systems.

Many of my clients are school district leaders, but the common thread is not a title. Instead they are:

  • Navigating complexity or growth.

  • Managing people, culture, and outcomes.

  • Seeking reflection and thoughtful action.
